Bayern Munich footballer Sadio Mane is considering an offer from Saudi club Al Nassr, British media reported today.
The 31-year-old has come under fire after a disappointing first season at Bayern, after the Bundesliga champions paid £35 million to sign him from Liverpool.
Bayern is open to selling the Senegalese international, and the coach of that club, Thomas Tuchel, stated that Mane did not live up to expectations, “BBC” reported.
Mane is said to have been in talks with Al Nassr, but no deal has yet been reached.
If he moves to Saudi Arabia, Mane would play with former Manchester United players Cristiano Ronaldo and Alex Teles, as well as Croatian international Marcelo Brozovic.
After a successful spell at Anfield where he won the Champions League and the Premier League, Mane left for Germany last summer saying it was “the right time for a challenge”.
His time at Bayern came to an end after reports that he punched team-mate Leroy Sane following the Champions League defeat to Manchester City in April, which saw him briefly dropped from the squad and fined.
Last season, Mane played 38 games in the Bayern jersey, and scored 12 goals.
