Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal have moved ahead of several European clubs in the race to sign Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville, agreeing a major €80 million deal with West Ham United.
The 24-year-old was one of the few positives in a difficult season for West Ham, producing seven goals and three assists in 34 appearances across all competitions. His performances attracted significant interest after the club’s relegation, with several teams exploring the possibility of bringing him back into the Premier League.
Serie A side Roma had initially emerged as the frontrunners for Summerville’s signature, submitting a €46 million offer earlier this month. Manchester United had also made enquiries regarding the winger’s availability, while Aston Villa were among the clubs monitoring his situation.
However, Al Hilal have now dramatically changed the picture by presenting an offer far beyond Roma’s proposal. According to reports from David Ornstein, the Saudi club have reached an agreement worth €80 million and are preparing to complete the transfer.

Summerville is expected to undergo a medical before signing a long-term contract with Al Hilal, bringing an end to speculation over his future.
The move would represent another major statement from the Saudi Pro League, which continues to attract high-profile players from European football with significant financial investments.
