After 15 months out of local football, Marlon Galea announced on LinkedIn that he will be taking up the post of Sporting Director of Floriana FC.
Galea said that he had been thinking about his situation in the past months and had enough time to rest and think about the next steps and always thought that he must wait for the right opportunity.
“Well, here it is. I’m very grateful, honored and proud of this appointment. I still remember when my father and uncles used to take me to Ta Qali to watch the Floriana of Cluett, Delia, Pierre & Co playing, what a joy for the eyes for a 10 years old kid crazy about local football. For me those players were legends and idols. Still remember some Miller and Crawley goals”, Galea said in his post.
Marlon thanked the President and his collaborators for this opportunity, and said that he can only promise only 1 thing which was hard work from himself and Jordie Delia, his assistant for this journey. Galea concluded by stating that himself and his team would be working hard so that the club can reach its targets today and in the coming years. Ex Ludis Virtus
