Qormi Daikin beat rivals GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks to stay in the title hunt

Local hockey champions Qormi Daikin managed to beat GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks 5-3 in a direct clash from the second round of the HAM League. The game was very intensive with Qormi establishing a triple advantage by the end of the second quarter and even though the Hotsticks improved in the third and fourth quarter, they still did not manage to take anything from this match. Kyle Micallef notched a double for the Yellow/Blacks  while Neil Spiteri Montebello, John Williams and Julian Zahra continued to increase the score for their team. Żurrieq stayed in the game after goals from Ryan Dalli, Alessandro Amore and Charlo Sammut. Umpires: Karl Chircop and Edward Hughes.

Floriana Young Stars got their third win of the season when they found little difficulty to beat White Hart 7-2. The Greens were always in front and by the end of the second quarter, the score was already 5-1. In the last two quarters there was a reaction from White Hart who reduced the scoring margin although they still came out empty-handed from this match. Ali Razwan scored a hat-trick, Justin Bonello was the author of a double while Justin Farrugia and Liam Gatt added their names among the scorers. David Agius and Karl Tua scored the only two goals for White Hart. Umpires were Glenn Bonello and Paul Brincat.

In the under 16 league, Qormi Daikin saw off Floriana Young Stars 7-0.

In the under 12, Qormi Daikin saw off Marsaskala Heat B 12-1 while Marsaskala Heat A won 7-1 against GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks.
