Current national team coaches from the 32 FIFA Member Associations that participated at last year’s tournament in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand were invited to the two-day event at the Home of FIFA in Zurich this week, where they discussed refereeing, technical and competition matters.
World football’s governing body presented its findings on the latest instalment of the competition during the forum this week, which provided an important platform for engaging discussion amongst the coaches in attendance. The event also allowed participants to exchange technical insights, views and knowledge relating to the biggest-ever event in women’s football.
The forum also included presentations by the FIFA Technical Study Group, which collected a wealth of data over the course of the tournament. Coaches also took a moment to speak to Inside FIFA to reflect on and share their memories, as well as their thoughts on the wider impact and legacy of the tournament.
