Group A:Germany vs Scotland, 14 June (Munich, 9:00 pm)

The opening match of the tournament sees hosts Germany facing Scotland in a grand manner. Germany, who have won the EURO three times, are making their 14th appearance in the tournament and are eager to achieve victory once more in front of their fans.

However, it will not be a simple task for Julian Nagelsmann’s team to face Scotland, who only suffered one defeat during their qualifying matches and achieved impressive victories against top teams such as Spain and Norway. In their previous eight competitive meetings, Scotland has never managed to defeat Germany, but the outcome in Munich is unpredictable.

Team B : Spain vs Italy, 20 June (Gelsenkirchen, 9:00 PM)

The Azzurri, who currently hold the title, were able to narrowly escape the qualifying play-offs with a closely contested draw against Ukraine on the final day. As a result, they will certainly be a team to watch closely with their new coach, Luciano Spalletti.

Group C:Denmark against England, 20 June (Frankfurt, 18:00)

The Danish team will be aiming for a change of result in their match against England, following their 2-1 loss in the semi-final of EURO 2020 at Wembley Stadium.

Both teams finished at the top of their respective qualifying groups, with England remaining unbeaten in Group C. As they head to Germany, both sides carry a strong sense of self-assurance and optimism for a successful run in the knockout phase.

Prior to Spain’s game against Italy on June 20th, this match is definitely worth noting on the calendar.

England defeated Denmark 2-1 in the EURO 2020 match, with highlights including key moments from both teams.

Match between Netherlands and France in Group D, taking place on 21 June at 21:00 in Leipzig.

The Netherlands, who were crowned champions in 1988, will face France, the winners of 1984 and 2000, in a highly anticipated match between two previous champions of EURO.

The Dutch team, also known as the Oranje, have not been able to progress beyond the quarter-finals of EURO since 2004. However, with the presence of talented players such as Virgil van Dijk, Xavi Simons, and Cody Gakpo, they have the potential to surpass their previous performances.

In the last 16 of EURO 2020, France suffered a shocking defeat on penalties against Switzerland. However, they were the runners-up in the previous tournament and will rely on their star player, Kylian Mbappe, to lead them to the final once again. France had defeated Netherlands twice during the qualifying matches, as shown in this link, and it remains to be seen if this will give Didier Deschamps’ team a mental advantage in their upcoming Matchday 2 clash.

France’s Mbappe delivers impressive performance against Netherlands.

Match between Belgium and Romania in Group E on 22 June at 21:00 in Cologne.

Belgium can be confident in their scoring potential against Germany as their striker, Romelu Lukaku, has achieved a new record for the most goals scored in a single European Championship qualifying campaign with 14 goals in Group F.

Romania is making their sixth appearance in this tournament after not being able to qualify for EURO 2020. Their most successful performance was in 2000, where they advanced from a challenging group that included England, Germany, and Portugal. However, they were defeated by Italy in the quarter-finals.

On this particular occasion, these teams have previously faced each other twice in a competitive setting. Both teams were able to secure a victory in the qualification round for the 1994 World Cup. Who will emerge victorious this time?

Lukaku has scored 14 goals for Belgium, making him the top scorer for the team.

Group F:Turkey vs Portugal, June 22 (Dortmund, 6:00 PM)

This competition may signify the final performance of the top scorer in men’s international football history, as Cristiano Ronaldo strives to secure one final significant title for his overflowing collection.

In an impressive qualifying run, Ronaldo’s squad achieved the feat of winning all ten games in Group J. The experienced player himself scored ten goals, placing second in the top scorer standings behind Lukaku.

The team from Portugal is expected to face a tougher challenge against the Group D champions, Turkiye. Vincenzo Montella’s dynamic and youthful squad is predicted by many to advance far into the knockout rounds. This upcoming game on Matchday 2 will provide a clear indication of the potential of both teams.
