Kevin Aquilina won the Gerald Debattista One Day Tournament organized by Mqabba Tal-Ġilju Darts Club.
Aquilina was in fine form as he won the group stages and advanced to the knock-out phase as he also saw off Stephen Tagliaferro who finished runner-up.
On the other hand, Eucharist Baldacchino and Emanuel Borg came joint third with Liliana Abela who had the highest finish of the tournament.
Fifty-one players took part in this tournament that honoured a late player who donned the Tal-Ġilju shirt for many years and had the chance to win the MDA First Division in the past with this team.
