Bayern Munich director Max Eberl has revealed that Leroy Sané has not accepted the club’s contract offer, sparking concerns that the winger could leave this summer.
Sané has yet to extend his deal with Bayern and is now just weeks away from becoming a free agent. The 29-year-old German international was offered a new contract featuring a reduced base salary of €10 million, along with €5.5 million in bonuses. However, it appears he is unwilling to accept the current terms and may depart once his contract expires at the end of the season.
Despite this, Eberl emphasized that there is no tension between the two parties. He stated that Bayern have made it clear they want to keep Sané at the club and believes the player still intends to stay—though it remains uncertain what the coming days will bring.
