Għaxaq Boċċi Club continued to underline their dominance in the First Division championship after securing a seventh consecutive victory with a commanding 21-5 win over Żebbuġ, maintaining their place at the top of the standings.
In second place remain St. Peters Żabbar and Msida, both of whom recorded away victories. St. Peters Żabbar defeated Qormi San Bastjan 21-11, while Msida cruised to a comfortable 21-5 win over Lija.
One of the most closely contested matches was between Żejtun and Bugibba, with the Żejtun side emerging victorious in dramatic fashion by 21-20. Santa Venera also claimed an important hard-fought win against Birkirkara by the same 21-20 scoreline.
Meanwhile, San Ġwann defeated Żurrieq 21-14 to continue improving their position in the standings.
