Għaxaq continue dominant run with convincing boċċi victory

Għaxaq Boċċi Club continued their impressive campaign in the First Division after producing another commanding performance, defeating Qormi San Bastjan 21-0 in their 16th match of the season.

The league leaders once again showed their strength and remain at the top of the standings, while Msida held on to second place following a competitive 21-17 victory over San Ġwann.

St Peter’s Żabbar also maintained their position among the leading teams, securing a comfortable 21-0 triumph against Birkirkara to stay third in the table.

In the remaining fixtures, Żejtun claimed a 21-16 win over Żebbuġ, while Żurrieq continued their positive form with a 21-11 success against Santa Venera.

Meanwhile, Buġibba earned a valuable victory in their fight for survival, overcoming Lija 21-7 to collect important points.
