Valletta Breakwater climbed to first in the national Blackball league table when they beat San Gwann Nick’s A 11-5 and are level on points with Cospicua Rangers. Despite everything, the latter have two games missing that they must recover in the coming days.
Hamrun 147 B reached Hamrun 147 A when they beat Jojo’s Birżebbuġa A 11-4 while Qormi Anici A beat their second team Qormi Anici B 11-6.
In the Regional League, Hamrun 147 C maintained their perfect record since the beginning of the season when they won the seven games they played so far. This week they managed to beat Hamrun 147 D 11-1 in a match that they dominated.
Pinto Club Qormi A and Valletta Fossa Boys A achieved important victories against PL Balzan A (11-9) and Domus Kids Żejtun A (11-9) respectively.
In section A of the Community League, Qormi Anici D kept the first place after an 11-5 victory in the direct match against San Ġwann Tiki Taka A while Birkirkara Boċċi climbed to the second place of the table after a positive score of 11-3 against Mrieħel Billiard House. On the other hand, Juve Birkirkara B beat San Gwann Nick’s B 11-9.
San Ġwann Tiki Taka B are in first place in section B although they were held to a 10-10 draw by Valletta Fossa Boys B.
Juve Birkirkara A and Domus Kids Żejtun B recorded good victories against Selmun Bar B (11-9) and Qormi Anici C (11-6). Even Qormi Anici E took three fundamental points for their standings after an 11-7 victory against Selmun Bar B.
