San Gwann Nick’s A and Cospicua Rangers are first in the national Blackball championship standings after achieving important victories in their respective matches. Both the San Gwann side and the Cospicua team achieved identical victories of 11-8 against Hamrun 147 B and Qormi Anici A respectively. Qormi Anici B had to settle for a 10-10 draw against Jojo’s Birżebbuġa A. Ħamrun 147 A got their first win of the season after a defeat and a draw as they beat Valletta Breakwater 11-9. Meanwhile in the Regional League, Hamrun 147 C still have maximum points from three games. Last Thursday they beat PL Balzan A 11-6. Following in second place are Domus Kids Żejtun A who won 11-8 against Selmun Bar A. On the other hand, in a balanced game, Hamrun 147 D and Valletta Fossa Boys A ended in a 10-10 draw. In the Community League group A, Qormi Anici D are impressing after clinching their third win of the season after a positive score of 11-8 against Juve Birkirkara B. San Ġwann Tiki Taka literally dominated the game against Selmun Bar C so much so that they won 11-1 with Birkirkara Boċċi being better than San Ġwann Nick’s B as they won 11-6. There was an absolute balance between PL Balzan B and Mrieħel Billiard House after a 10-10 scoreline. San Ġwann Tiki Taka B are in first place of group B of the Community League after beating Juve Birkirkara A 11-4. Qormi Anici C suffered their first defeat of the season after being defeated by Valletta Fossa Boys B 11-7 while Selmun Bar B got the first three points of the season after a score of 11-6 against Tac-Cacċu Qormi. Another draw was registered in the game between Domus Kids Żejtun B and Qormi Anici E after a score of 10-10.
