Qormi Pinto A are the winners of the 2026 Federation Cup organised by the Malta Blackball Pool Federation after a dramatic and thrilling final held at the Juventus Club Vero Amore in Birkirkara.
The encounter against Ħamrun 147 A was evenly balanced and remained in doubt until the very end. After the four regulation sessions, the teams were tied at 10-10, meaning a fifth session was required to determine the winners.
Qormi Pinto A managed to move into a 12-11 lead before the decisive moment arrived. It was Glenn Axiaq who kept his composure and potted the final ball to hand Qormi Pinto A a 13-11 victory and the Federation Cup title.
