The Malta Blackball Federation has announced its national team squads for the 2025 Nations Cup, which will take place in Bridlington from 5th to 16th April.
The competition will feature seven categories, with players selected through a series of qualifying tournaments held in recent weeks.
The Men’s A team will consist of Johan Attard, Clayton Castaldi, Leon Azzopardi, Glenn Axiaq, Philip Coleiro, Clint Azzopardi, and Gary Carr, with Clevion Micallef as coach.
The Men’s B team includes Miguel Mizzi, Alessio Magro, Deacon Formosa, Shaun Attard, Brandon Bonnici, and Luke Said, with Lee Ryan Darmanin as the coach.
The Under-15 team will be made up of Nick Muscat, Jake Castaldi, Denzel Falzon, and Dielyn Edwards, led by coach Robert Attard.
The Under-23 team will feature Nordai Desira, Casdy Vella, Chaylon Castaldi, Steven Muscat, Matthias Debono, and Neil Caruana, with Kyle Zammit as coach.
The Senior A team, coached by Malcolm Parnis, will include Stephen Mangion, Lee Grima, Shawn Galea, Duncan Edwards, Conrad Catania, and Mario Scicluna.
The Senior B team, under coach Christopher Busuttil, will consist of Sandro Bartolo, Cajetan Fauzza, Robert Bugeja, Jonathan Vella, Wayne Cassar, and Mario Felice.
The Malta Masters team will feature Brian Grech, Antoine Aquilina, Jason Mangion, Johan Grixti, David Zammit, and Jesmond Schembri, with coach Ishmael Hatherly.
