Ħamrun 147 B won the Regional Christmas Trophy after beating San Ġwann Tiki Taka Spartans 11-8 in the final, which was played at the Juventus Club Vero Amore.
Ħamrun 147 B took control early and were leading 7-3 at the end of the second session. San Ġwann Tiki Taka Spartans fought back well in the third session and turned the match around to take an 8-7 lead.
Ħamrun 147 B stayed calm and responded strongly, winning the next four frames in a row to secure the trophy.
The Ħamrun 147 B team included coach Chaylon Castaldi and players Jake Castaldi, Casdy Vella, Liam Mifsud, Steven Muscat, Nordai Desira and Matthias Debono.
San Ġwann Tiki Taka Spartans were represented by Kerstin Vella, Ivan Ebejer, Brian Grech, Sandro Bartolo, Manuel Piscopo, Antoine Aquilina, Conrad Catania and Elcid Aquilina, with Tony Attard as coach.
After the match, Christopher Busuttil, representing the Malta Blackball Federation, presented the trophy to Ħamrun 147 B coach Chaylon Castaldi.
