Ħamrun 147 A have won the Cisk Premier League title in Blackball after beating Cospicua Rangers 11–8 in a thrilling and hard-fought final.
As expected, the match was very close, with both teams taking turns to lead. Ħamrun won the first frame, but Cospicua (Bormla) hit back and managed to go ahead 7–5. Still, Ħamrun kept their focus in the final part of the game, made a strong comeback, and secured the win when Philip Coleiro potted the final ball.
The winning team – Ħamrun 147 A – included Clayton Castaldi, Gary Carr, Stephen Mangion, Dejan Grech, Leon Camilleri, and Philip Coleiro.
Cospicua Rangers were represented by Johan Attard, Ryan Pisani, Clayton Attard, Clint Grima, and Kevin Schembri.
Michel Curmi, the Malta Blackball Association’s Public Relations Officer, handed the trophy to Ħamrun captain Clayton Castaldi.
