Ħamrun 147 A have booked their place in the Premier League Blackball final after coming from behind to beat Qormi Pinto A 21-18 on aggregate in the semi-finals. Having lost the first leg 12-8, the Ħamrun side showed real character in the return fixture to overturn the deficit and set up a final against Cospicua Rangers A on Friday, 19 June.
Challenger League
Two semi-finals are scheduled in the Challenger League, with Qormi Pinto B taking on San Ġwann Tiki Taka Spartans, and Ħamrun 147 B facing San Ġwann Tiki Taka Boys.
Regional League
Birkirkara Youngsters secured their place in the final with a 21-16 win over Żebbuġ St Joseph A and now await the winners of next week’s semi-final between Ħamrun 147 C and Selmun Sports Club A.
Community League
The Community League semi-finals will see PL Floriana take on San Ġwann Tiki Taka Buddies, while Ħamrun 147 D face Cospicua Rangers B.
Amateur League
Two quarter-final ties were played this week, with Birżebbuġa St Peter’s B beating Siġġiewi Montekristo B 11-7 and Ħamrun 1889 Bar edging past Selmun Sport B 11-9. The semi-finals, due to take place next Monday, will pit Birkirkara Juve against Birżebbuġa St Peter’s B, and Birkirkara Boċċi against Ħamrun 1889 Bar.
