Cospicua Rangers maintained their first place in the National Blackball championship when they found little difficulty to beat Qormi Anici A 11-4. They are enjoying a two point advantage over their nearest rivals Hamrun 147 A who had a positive game against Valletta Breakwater so much so that they won 11-3.
Jojo’s Birżebbuġa climbed to fifth place in the standings after beating Qormi Anici B 11-3 away from home.
In the Regional Championship, the two teams of Hamrun 147 are in the first two places of the standings. Team D beat Valletta Fossa Boys 11-8 while Team C won away from home at PL Balzan A 11-6. On the other hand, Selmun Bar A and Domus Kids Żejtun A ended their clash in a 10-10 scoreline.
In Community League group A, leaders Qormi Anici D were held to a 10-10 draw by Birkirkara Boċċi while second-placed San Ġwann Tiki Taka A took advantage as they beat PL Balzan B 11- 2.
In other matches, Juve Birkirkara B and Mrieħel Billiard House got good wins against Selmun Bar C (11-4) and San Ġwann Nick’s B (11-8) respectively.
Finally in the Community League group B, San Ġwann Tiki Taka are enjoying a nine point advantage over Qormi Anici E after they beat Selmun Bar B 11-7. Qormi Anici E suffered an unexpected defeat against Taċ-Ċaċċu Qormi who won this derby 11-2.
Juve Birkirkara A beat Qormi Anici C 11-7 while in a balanced game, Valletta Fossa Boys B and Domus Kids Żejtun B ended in a 10-10 draw.
