Cospicua Rangers progressed to the Blackball National League KO final when they defeated Ħamrun 147 B 21-14. It was a two-leg semi-final which was mostly dominated by the Cospicua side despite the valiant efforts of the Hamrun side.
Hence, Cospicua Rangers meet Hamrun 147 A in the final which is scheduled for Friday 5 July.
In the Challenge League KO, San Ġwann Nick’s A staged a comeback to beat Jojo’s Birżebbuġa 21-16. After being 12-8 down, the team from San Gwann reacted well in the second leg in order to get the result they wanted and they will play in the final scheduled on July 4th against Qormi Anici A.
Hamrun 147 D booked a place in the Regional League final and will play against their C team after beating Selmun Bar A 21-16 over two legs.
In the Community League, the finalists will be Qormi Anici D and San Ġwann Tiki Taka B after overcoming their respective opponents.
The Qriema beat Juve Birkirkara A 21-16 while the San Ġwann Tiki Taka derby went to team B who beat team A 21-17.
The Amateur Cup final will be contested by Birkirkara Boċċi and Qormi Anici E. The latter beat Juve Birkirkara B and Valletta Fossa Boys with the same score of 11-8. On their part Birkirkara Boċċi eliminated Tac-Ċaċċu Qormi 11-1.
