Ħamrun SC have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Euro Winners Challenge after securing their second victory of the tournament, defeating Genappe BS 3-1.
The Maltese side produced another strong performance throughout the match. William opened the scoring in the first period, while Toni Almeida doubled the advantage. Although Genappe pulled one back through Fox, David sealed the victory for the Ħamrun side with a third goal.
Today, Ħamrun SC will play their final group-stage match against the host team, AD Nazaré 2022.
Meanwhile, Maltese champions Sliema Beach Soccer begin their Euro Winners Cup campaign in Nazaré as they take on Falfala at 4:00 pm. During the week, they will also face Ecoris and Bavaris Beach in their remaining group matches.
