Ħamrun SC and Sliema Beach Soccer will contest the final of the National Beach Soccer Championship after winning their semi-final matches.
Defending champions Ħamrun SC delivered a dominant display to beat WA Agency 8-2. Although WA Agency took an early lead through Dylan Musu, Ħamrun responded quickly with goals from Joshua Olejabi and Tobi Hakiti, the latter going on to complete a hat-trick. Nezar Abouaisha scored twice, with JP Zammit and Kyle Bartolo also getting on the scoresheet. Essa Salem added a second for WA Agency, but it was not enough to trouble Joel Winters’ side. Referees for the match were Andrea Naudi and Stephen Vella.

In the other semi-final, Sliema Beach Soccer edged past last year’s finalists La Playa de Arena in a thrilling 5-4 win. Goals from Matthew Agius (2), Dias, Brandon Bray, and Roberto Fassari secured the result for Sliema, while La Playa de Arena replied through Daryl Micallef, Sheldon Mizzi, Karl Micallef, and Ryan Dalli. This match was officiated by Andrea Naudi and Stefania Bonnici.
The final between Ħamrun SC and Sliema Beach Soccer will take place tomorrow at Pretty Bay, Birżebbuġa.
