Starlites completed a historic season by winning the BOV Basketball First Division League title, defeating Hibernians 3–2 in a thrilling best-of-five finals series.
The Naxxar-based side were dominant throughout the campaign, finishing the regular season unbeaten before carrying that form into the playoffs.
After a tightly contested series, Starlites delivered a commanding 98–77 win in the decisive Game 5, with Musa Jallow and Threadgill leading the scoring.
The title completed a clean sweep of domestic honours for Starlites, who had already secured the Super Cup, Joe Tabone Shield and National KnockOut Trophy.
Jallow was named Finals MVP, while the trophy was presented by Bank of Valletta and the Malta Basketball Association, highlighting a season to remember for the club.
