RAPTORS DOMINANT AT HOME: Miami without Butler

The Toronto Raptors team recorded their 10th win in the last 11 matches at home. This time the “victim” was Miami, which was defeated 106:92.

Nick Nurse’s team had a disastrous start to the match – Miami led 14:4 at the start of the match and it seemed that this would be a nightmarish night for the home team. However, they managed to pull away and reach 53:47 at halftime.

Miami experienced a complete collapse in the third quarter, which the Raptors dominantly won by 31:20 with a great game on both ends of the floor and reached +17 before the last quarter.

The home team, with experience, slowed down the pace, played longer attacks, and very easily managed to preserve a convincing lead and at the end celebrated with a score of 106:92.

Pascal Siakam was the most effective for the Raptors with 26 points. Anunoby scored 22 points, as did Barnes, who also dished out a record 12 assists. VanVleet and Achiuwa were also in double figures with 12 points each.

Tyler Herro was by far the best in Miami with 33 points, followed by Adebayo with a double-double performance of 22 points and 12 rebounds.

Miami is seventh in the East with 40 wins and 36 losses, while Toronto is ninth with 38 wins and losses.
