In a move that surprised many, Partizan has successfully secured the signing of American basketball player Zach LeDay, ensuring his continued presence within the team.
Amid some uncertainty surrounding Leday’s future, he ultimately decided to extend his cooperation with the black and white team by signing a two-year contract.
The decision of Kevin Punter, another player on the team, to stay with the club also played a role in Leday’s choice. Additionally, Partizan’s strong ambition to compete in the Final Four next season was a crucial factor in his decision-making process.
“Kevin’s decision certainly influenced my own. However, the club’s ambitions were of paramount importance. The primary factor was the club’s desire to compete in the Final Four,” LeDay expressed to Telesport.
LeDay is focused on the upcoming season in the Euroleague and is determined to leave the past behind.
“I’m not dwelling on the previous season. I am looking forward to what lies ahead and the club’s efforts to bring in players who will contribute to our ultimate goal of securing a place in the Euroleague’s final tournament.”
