Nemanja Nedovic Reflects on Red Star's Victory in Radivoje Korac Cup

Meridianbet Red Star basketball standout Nemanja Nedovic shared his thoughts following the victory against FMP, securing a spot in the Radivoje Korac Cup semifinals.

“We played against a very good team that improved a lot with the arrival of a new coach. This can be seen in their last matches, today and in the Abaliga matches, so a good test for us, I think it came at a good time, now we have a day of rest before the semi-finals, let’s move on.” said Nedovic.

Nedovic, who played a pivotal role in the win with 20 points, acknowledged the absence of key players such as Tobi, Freddie Gillespie, Smart, and Milos Teodosic.

“We miss everyone, but we didn’t think about it. We are focusing on the guys who are there and we expect Teodosic to join us before the semi-finals, God willing.” Nemanja revealed, then added:

“It could have been better, of course, but they are a very good, hard team, I worked with coach Nikitovic, one of the best coaches I worked with, he really arranged them properly. We didn’t underestimate them, they tested us to the max today, this kind of check came in handy.” concluded Nemanja Nedovic.

In the upcoming semifinal matchup, Red Star Meridianbet will face Cacak 94, who caused an upset by defeating Borac and advancing to the next stage of the competition.
