The Denver Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat in the first match of the NBA Finals, but that did not affect the first “feather” of the team from Florida, Jimmy Butler.
Miami’s leader believes in his teammates, and on the eve of the second match, which will be played on the night of Sunday to Monday (2:00 CET), he points out that this defeat means nothing.
“I don’t think there’s much to say, I really don’t. Whether you’re down 3-0 or leading 3-0, you need to get to four wins. It’s never over. “Even though we are losing 1:0, we know we will win four,” said Butler.
The defeat in the last match, apart from the great game of Nikola Jokic, was “committed” to a desperate shot from Miami (Markus Štrus 0/11, Caleb Martin 1/7).
“After the match, we joked and laughed, we knew we could play better and we would play better in the next match”, announced Butler.
