Miami Heat will strengthen their squad with Charlotte Hornets’ star Terry Rozier.
In exchange for Rozier, Miami will send Kyle Lowry and an unprotected first-round pick in the 2027 NBA Draft to Charlotte, according to well-informed insider Shams Charania.
The addition of Rozier to Erik Spoelstra’s lineup is expected to make last year’s finalists, alongside Milwaukee and Boston, the main contenders for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
This season, “Scary Terry” is averaging 23.2 points per game, along with 3.9 rebounds and 6.6 assists.
With a contract running until the end of the 2025/26 season, the 29-year-old guard will earn an average of $25 million annually.
