The coach of Virtus from Bologna, Luca Bianchi, summed up his impressions after a new triumph in the Euroleague, over Alba from Berlin with a score of 87:76.
The Italian coach was satisfied after the second victory in the Euroleague and pointed out that the vice-champion of Italy is still looking for the right form.
“A good win, the second in a row, the first at home. We prepared well. We had an impressive start to the match. We showed a good effort at both ends of the field. We left the dressing room with not-so-good energy, it was predictable that Alba would start to play better, they have the talent to do it and the diversity to do it.” said Bianchi, then added:
“We struggled to control the game a bit. Mentally, it is not easy to enter the double round. It’s a process, building an identity, we rotated 11 players tonight and gave ourselves the opportunity to be efficient for 40 minutes. That’s the only way to survive in a talented league like this.” concluded the coach of Virtus.
