One of Spain’s key players at last year’s Eurobasket, Lorenzo Brown, will probably miss this year’s Mundobasket.
The former Red Star player, who won a gold medal with Spain, has behind him an exhausting season in Maccabi from Tel Aviv.
“I am not sure that I will play in the Mundobasket for Spain. I’m thinking of giving it up right now. I had a long season, my body is starting to fail me. Every step is like torture for me. We’ll see how things play out over the summer,’ said Brown.
In the previous Euroleague season, Lorenzo averaged 16.5 points and 5.5 assists.
