LeBron James wrote NBA history in the Los Angeles derby. He became the only player who managed to score at least 40 points against every team in the league.
He scored 46 points for the Clippers last night, but that didn’t help the Lakers avoid their tenth loss in a row when it comes to Los Angeles derbies.
Thirty-eight-year-old LeBron reached the record with a dunk in the last quarter, when he reduced the deficit of the Lakers to 111:95. James averages just under 30 points per game, and if he continues at that rate, during the next month he should become the best scorer in the history of the NBA, that is, he should overtake the first on the list – the legendary Karim Abdul-Jabbar.
He is only 178 points short of that record, which means that if he maintains his average this season, he will need only six more games to become the best scorer ever.
