NBA basketball player and member of the New Orleans Pelicans, Jaxson Hayes, will face as many as twelve counts in court, the American media reported.
Hayes expects a serious trial for domestic violence last year.
Among other things, he is accused of inflicting bodily harm on a girl, vandalism, resisting arrest, and violent behavior towards police officers.
All this happened in Los Angeles in July of the previous year, and then it was reported that one police officer had to go to the hospital due to injuries sustained in the fight.
Due to domestic violence, the police came, and Hayes didn’t like it, so he got into an argument, even a physical confrontation.
Eventually, the police used an electric shocker to calm him down.
