Barcelona basketball coach Sarunas Jasikevicius believes in his team despite the defeat at the start of the Euroleague against Olympiakos 80:70.
The Lithuanian believes that the team made bad decisions at key moments in this match.
“We weren’t smart enough to read different situations, especially in attack. We didn’t read their defense well with takeovers and made bad decisions at key moments. We showed character and reacted several times, but there was no consistency,” said the Lithuanian expert.
Despite the fact that his team suffered three defeats in five games at the start of the season, Sarunas is optimistic.
“I have no doubts about this team. The most important thing is that we learn how to play well against teams like this in extended periods so that it’s not just a flash,” said Jasikevicius.
Fuenlabrada in the ACB league is waiting for Barca this weekend and after that the Euroleague – Spanish derby with Real Madrid at home.
