NBA basketball player James Harden arrived in Los Angeles, among the Clippers, after being traded from Philadelphia.
Russell Westbrook, a former teammate from Houston and Oklahoma, was the first to greet him in the dressing room of the Crypto.com Arena. “The Beard” arrived in the city of angels in a package with PJ Tucker and Filip Petrusev.
Along with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, they will make the Clippers one of the main contenders for the NBA title.
Westbrook skipped his usual routine of preparing for the match and joked with ‘The Beard’ that he could stay on the other side of the locker room, where his new locker is located.
Tucker and Harden sat in the company of Russell and Paul George and chatted for more than an hour before the start of the game against the Orlando Magic.
When asked by reporters in the locker room how excited he was, Harden answered briefly: “You don’t understand.”
He and Tucker are not expected to play in the city derby against the Lakers but instead will make their debut against the New York Knicks on Monday.
