Cousins received praise from Malone

DeMarcus Cousins made his debut for the Denver Nuggets in a 117-111 victory over the Detroit Pistons.

The experienced center made three quick personal mistakes after entering the floor and spent a total of 12 minutes on the field.

He had a performance of two points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal, with a shot from game 1 of 7.

Denver coach Mike Malone commented on Cousins and his arrival at the Nuggets.

“I know what he went through. After really good games in Milwaukee, this guy was sitting at home waiting for his phone to ring. That’s crazy to me. I don’t know if people are afraid of him. But I’m not, I love him, ”Malone said.
