BOGDAN BOGDANOVIC: I like to play for Serbia, I want to stay in Hoks until retirement

Atlanta Hawks basketball player and Serbian national team player Bogdan Bogdanovic spoke before the start of preparations for the new season.

During the ‘media day’, Bogdan Bogdanovic spoke for journalists on various topics.

“This is the first team since Partizan that I stayed in for four years. I’m very excited about what’s next, I’m glad to be here. I didn’t know much about Atlanta when I was coming, now when I go to Serbia, I start to miss it. I like being here and I hope to stay in the team for the rest of my career.” Bog revealed.

What can make all Hawks fans happy is the fact that, by his own admission, he has never been better.

“I was not in optimal condition in previous years when it came to the training camp. For example, if some kid invited me to play basketball, I wouldn’t be able to go out on the court right away. It would take me at least half an hour to stretch and warm up, now I can do that without a problem. It helped that I played in the World Cup and I always like to play for Serbia.” the Atlanta player said.

He will have the opportunity to learn more about the work of Kevin C. Snyder, who replaced Nate McMillan in February.

“This will be a very exciting training camp, we will have time to build team spirit and chemistry. It will be very important to find a rhythm with the new coach.” concluded Bogdanovic.
