Dejan Bodiroga, a former Yugoslav and Serbian basketball player could soon be appointed to the position of president of the Euroleague.
However, there is every chance that it will not go so smoothly for Bodiroga.
According to Spanish media, three Spanish and two Turkish clubs resent this and will vote against the changes that will be proposed on Friday.
These are the clubs that are the founders of the Euroleague: Barcelona, Real, Baskonia, Efes and Fenerbahce.
Namely, they are dissatisfied that ASVEL and Bayern still do not have the same rights as all the other clubs that own the Euroleague and that most clubs are constantly postponing the change of their status.
They believe that the changes that will take place on Friday will be illegal, and irresponsible, and therefore have announced that they will protect their interests through legal means.
