The American basketball player who joined Dejan Radonjić’s team as a big reinforcement, Dwayne Bacon, was fined by Panathinaikos after misconduct and will leave the club before the end of the championship, reports Eurohoops.
The American came to the Greek club after he failed to secure a permanent contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, but the cooperation between the two sides did not last long.
After a little less than six months, Bacon is expected to leave the club after the PAO suspended him after the last training session.
Although the American believes that it is an injustice, the club has made a final decision when it comes to parting.
“There is a misunderstanding, this makes no sense. I swear I only care about work every time I step between those lines. My will to win is always there, I don’t let them make me a fool, I sacrificed a lot for what I love,” he wrote.
