Ataman: Every Sunday we will assess Larkin's situation

Anadolu Efes coach Ergin Ataman pointed out that Shane Larkin will not be in the Turkish team for at least another four or five weeks because he traveled to the United States on Saturday for further tests due to a finger injury.

“Larkin will have new examinations on October 14. I guess he won’t be able to play for another four or five weeks. We will evaluate his situation every week, but I don’t think he will be able to play at least six or seven more Euroleague games,” Ataman said.

The coach of the two-time European champion recently pointed out that there is a possibility that the club hires a player to replace Larkin, and at one time Serbian playmaker Stefan Jovic was mentioned for that position.

The Turkish team beat Crvena Zvezda in Istanbul at the start of the Euroleague, and on Thursday they visit Monaco.
