Athlete Beppe Grillo is the third athlete to make it to #TeamMalta for the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Recently Beppe broke Malta’s 100m national record after nearly a decade, when he clocked 10.23 seconds to finish in third place, earning a bronze medal for Malta and setting a new national benchmark.
Grillo was selected through the Universality Places programme assigned by the Olympic Games Tripartite Commission who has sole discretion on the choice of athlete but selection is based on the athlete’s international competitive experience, their technical level and the willingness to qualify for the Olympic Games by participating in the relevant qualifying events.
The Maltese Olympic Committee contingent in Paris is supported by Olympic Solidarity and APS Bank
