With a vibrant mix of established venues and exciting new hosts, the 2025 season is set to showcase the best of aquatics.
The announcement follows a successful year for competition in 2024, which saw twelve European Aquatics Championships events across the elite and junior levels, five Open Water Cups and one Masters Championships.
Youth and junior athletes will compete across several key locations. The Junior Open Water Championships will be held in Setubal, Portugal, from 19th – 21st June, while Athens, Greece, will host both the Junior Diving Championships from 23rd – 29th June and the Junior Artistic Swimming Championships from 25th – 29th June.
Slovakia will make its debut as a European Aquatics host, with Samorin set to stage the U23 Swimming Championships from 26th – 28th June, followed by the Junior Swimming Championships from 1st – 6th July.
The calendar will see some countries, such as Slovakia, hosting European Aquatics events for the first time, while others like Portugal, Malta, Greece and Turkiye will continue their long-standing relationship with aquatics.
More detailed schedules and updates will be released in due course.
