The Netherlands booked their place in the FIFA World Cup knockout stage with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Tunisia in their final Group F match.
Tunisia briefly threatened a comeback when Hazem Mastouri equalised early in the second half, but the Dutch quickly regained control. Jan Paul van Hecke restored their lead before the Netherlands added a late third to seal the win.
The result ensured the Dutch progressed in confident fashion, while Tunisia’s World Cup campaign came to an end.
