Jordan Henderson has reportedly suffered a wrist injury following England’s dramatic 3-2 victory over Mexico in the World Cup knockout stages.
The incident occurred after the final whistle during post-match celebrations, when Henderson fell while attempting to move back over advertising hoardings near the pitch. He landed awkwardly on his arm and was left in visible pain.

Medical staff quickly attended to him on the pitch before he was taken away for further assessment. Reports indicate he was later taken to hospital for treatment as a precaution.
England manager Thomas Tuchel acknowledged the injury and suggested it looked serious, although the full extent of the damage is still unclear. Henderson’s availability for upcoming matches is now uncertain while medical evaluations continue.
