Shaun Parnis produced another strong performance for Team Malta at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, defeating India’s Sonowal in the men’s singles lawn bowls competition on Sunday.
The Maltese player won the opening set 10–4 before the second set finished level at 7–7. That gave Parnis a 1.5–0.5 victory and secured the match for Malta.
The result continues Parnis’ positive campaign in Glasgow as Malta’s athletes remain in action across the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
